Callum Robson claimed his second Challenger Series victory after navigating heavy ten-to-fifteen-foot conditions during the men’s Finals Day. The former Championship Tour competitor delivered a composed and powerful performance through the Round of 32, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals before rising to the occasion in a closely contested Final.

The Final featured an elite lineup including Griffin Colapinto (USA), Morgan Cibilic (AUS), and Maui’s Eli Hanneman (HAW). Robson opened with a 6.33 before responding decisively to strong scores from his competitors, reclaiming the lead with a 7.67 that ultimately secured the win as time expired.

“It’s pretty crazy to be honest. It’s not classic Pipeline in that Final, but to be out there with Morgs [Cibilic], and Griffin [Colapinto], and Eli [Hanneman], it’s obviously really good surfers in that heat,” said Robson. “I just can’t believe I’ve just won this competition. From the start of this week and believing you’re going to win the event is pretty crazy. I don’t really know how to feel right now, but I’m tripping.”
“It hasn’t obviously been my best year on the Challenger Series, but being 11th is way better than 30-something that I was coming in here. I just refocused on that little bit of off time off, and I was just stoked to come surf Pipeline. I surfed it on the CT, and I just love this place, I love this wave.”

The victory moved Robson to No. 11 on the Challenger Series rankings, placing him just outside the qualification line heading into the final event of the season at Newcastle.

Kauaʻi’s Gabriela Bryan secured her maiden Challenger Series win with a composed and confident performance in four-to-six-foot conditions. Competing through a stacked women’s field, Bryan advanced steadily from the Round of 32 before delivering when it mattered most in the Final.

The Final featured reigning World Champion Molly Picklum (AUS), Erin Brooks (CAN), and Anat Lelior (ISR). Bryan matched Picklum’s early momentum before taking control of the heat with a 7.10, later backing it up with a solid secondary score to hold the lead until the horn.

“It feels so good to start the year off with a win after so much time off. Getting back in the jersey, feeling the nerves, and everything that comes along with competing,” said Bryan. “It gets me so fired up for the rest of the year. It’s a long year ahead, and we’re just beginning, but there’s no better way than to start with a win, especially at Pipe.”
“It’s so special to feel that spirit of Andy [Irons] and I love to represent Kauaʻi and where I come from. It’s so awesome to have Lyndie [Irons] here. My first-ever contest was the Irons Brothers.”

Bryan’s win adds another milestone to her career as she prepares for the start of the 2026 Championship Tour season, reaffirming her status as a leading World Title contender.
